I didn’t grow up planning to work in small business accounting, but I’ve always been someone who steps in, figures things out, and makes systems work better.

I started my career in fast-paced environments like retail and restaurants, moving quickly into management roles by noticing what wasn’t working and fixing it. That problem-solving mindset followed me everywhere.

My path into bookkeeping started in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, when I was asked to help with bookkeeping on weekends at a fine dining restaurant. I discovered I liked the structure, the clarity, and how numbers tell a story about how a business really runs.

After moving to North Carolina, I worked in full-time bookkeeping roles, supporting small businesses in QuickBooks Online, cleaning up books, and explaining financials in a way owners could actually understand. I became a QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor because doing this work accurately and responsibly matters to me.

I started my own firm to offer something I saw missing, clear, reliable bookkeeping and accounting support built around how a business actually operates. I work virtually with service-based businesses across the U.S., and I also specialize in coffee shop accounting because I understand the pace, margins, and care required to run them well.
